Gundam Rogue Orbit Launches March 5, 2027

Bandai Namco announced Gundam Rogue Orbit during the June 2026 Summer Game Fest event. The game is set for release on March 5, 2027, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

Alongside the game, a new anime project titled Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO was revealed. It will act as a prequel to the game and share its setting, a universe called After Apocalypse.

In Gundam Rogue Orbit, players control RE-X, the pilot of the Gundam Helix, who joins fellow pilots to fight giant mechanical monstrosities appearing in space. The enemy appears to be an unidentified threat of unknown origin.

Preorders are open now, with a bonus Earth Blue Color customization option for the Gundam Helix. The Standard Edition includes only the base game. The Deluxe Edition costs $79.99 and adds a Mission Reward Booster, a Mobile Suit Color pack with 14 colors, Premium MOD Skins, and digital artwork and music. The MOD Skin sets transform the Helix Gundam into the Freedom Gundam from SEED, Gundam Barbatos from Iron Blooded Orphans, and Wing Gundam Zero from Gundam Wing.

The Launch Edition is exclusive to the official Bandai Namco store for $59.99 and includes the base game, reversible cover art, an 11x17'' poster, and a Gundam Card Game Promo Card featuring new character Sofia. The Collector's Edition costs $159.99 and bundles everything from the Launch and Deluxe Editions, plus a Steel Case with a Helix Gundam blueprint, five Gundam Card Game Promo cards, and an exclusive 15-cm HG 1/144 ARK-10 Gundam Helix (Earth Blue version) Gunpla. It is limited to two per person and is not yet available for purchase.
