Developer shows Halo 3 running inside Fallout: New Vegas
The in-development integration adds Halo weapons and vehicles to the Mojave, with a GitHub release planned soon.
A YouTube developer working under the name Reveries has shown an in-development project that integrates Halo 3 with Fallout: New Vegas so that both games run simultaneously, according to windowscentral.com.
The build brings Halo 3 gameplay, weapons and vehicles into the Fallout: New Vegas Mojave setting, with the player taking the role of Master Chief. Players can move through the Fallout: New Vegas campaign with its dialogue options while carrying Halo hardware including an energy sword, a battle rifle, grenades and a gravity hammer.
The integration is still in active development and is planned for release on GitHub soon. It is not currently available to play.
Reveries describes the work as neither a rewrite nor a decompilation, and cites the SkyCraft project by a creator named Chasm as an inspiration.
Part of a wider run of mashups
Mashups pairing unrelated games have appeared in recent months, among them Skate in Call of Duty, Minecraft in Elden Ring and Mario in Halo. In October 2025, Xbox Labs was described as approving AI game mashups.
