Halo: Parasite's Wake, a new Halo novel from Gallery Books written by Tim Lebbon, is set for release on October 20, according to Polygon.
The novel is the latest entry in the franchise's publishing line. Halo: Combat Evolved launched for the Xbox in 2001, and the first tie-in novel, The Fall of the Reach, was written by Eric Nylund.
Since then, more than 30 Halo novels have been published by a range of authors, alongside graphic novels and more than a dozen games.
Lebbon is the award-winning author of novels including The Silence, as well as novelizations of films and media series such as Alien, Hellboy, and Firefly.
