Aerosoft launches Heavy Defense DLC for Heavy Cargo

The expansion adds 10 large transport missions with military-style cargo, and ships alongside a free 1.4.0 update for all players.

Aerosoft released the Heavy Defense DLC for the truck simulator Heavy Cargo on November 5, according to gamemeca.com. The expansion adds 10 large transport missions built around military-style freight.

The new cargo includes 10 types of loads modeled on military vehicles: tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, armored vehicles, mine-protected ambush-resistant vehicles, self-propelled artillery and combat reconnaissance vehicles inspired by NATO member states. The DLC also opens 3 new delivery areas and unlocks 11 new paint designs.

A free 1.4.0 update shipped alongside the expansion. It lets players paint more truck parts, including bumpers, headlight brackets, wheel rims and horns, and adds an option to toggle mission time ratings on or off at any time.

The update also brings improved lighting and weather effects, optimized gear shifting on hills, fixes for missions, navigation and vehicle spawning, and visual and world improvements covering plants, roadside objects and signs.

Built with a real logistics partner

Heavy Cargo was made in cooperation with Europe's Gruber Logistics, with the aim of conveying the feel of driving real large freight trucks across Europe.
