The game debuted for PC and iOS in 2018 and came to Nintendo Switch in 2021 as Hoggy Hue with Friends. It originated from the March 11, 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident, after which the dog Hyuga from Iitate Village in Fukushima came to live with Pixel's representative director.
