Injustice 2 Mobile Adds Guy Gardner as Legendary Arcane Hero
Update 6.8.0 brings the Green Lantern to the roster, where his power set builds around Green Lantern Energy and Lantern Form.
Injustice 2 Mobile has added Guy Gardner to its roster as a Legendary Arcane hero in update 6.8.0, according to Screen Rant. The Green Lantern joins the game's playable fighters as part of the ongoing content support for the mobile title.
Gardner's power set revolves around building Green Lantern Energy while the Combo Meter is high. He can also enter Green Lantern Form using his Power Ring; in that form, his Armor-Piercing Basic and Swipe Attacks deal increased damage, and his Specials cost less Power.
The update positions him as a good choice for solo raids, where sustained damage and efficient Power use matter. His kit is built around keeping the Combo Meter high to feed his Energy gain.
A growing Green Lantern roster
With Gardner's addition, the game's Green Lantern lineup now includes Guy Gardner, John Stewart, Hal Jordan, and Emerald Green Lantern. Nicholas Hoult's Lex Luthor is already a playable character in Injustice 2 Mobile.
Elsewhere in DC's slate, HBO's Lanterns series recently aired its season finale, resolving the fates of its ring-bearers. John Stewart will appear in the Superman sequel Man of Tomorrow, which is expected in cinemas this summer, while the DCU's Clayface movie is due for release later this month. Injustice 3 remains unconfirmed beyond rumors and leaks.
