Kakao Games sets Q2 global launch for Dokkaebi's World

The mobile MMORPG will also be serviced on PC via Steam as Kakao Games outlined a slate that includes Odin Q and Chrono Odyssey.

Kakao Games said on November 4 that Dokkaebi's World will launch globally on mobile and be serviced on PC via Steam in the second quarter of next year, according to techm.kr. The announcement came at the company's third-quarter earnings conference call, where it laid out its release plans.

Kakao Games said Dokkaebi's World records the highest real user metrics among its titles to date. The company also stated that the game draws revenue from a broad base of small and mid-sized paying users rather than a few high spenders.

The company said it will focus on raising the content competitiveness of Dokkaebi's World until the global launch. The title has already been released in Korea, where it is performing well, and was covered by the company in its growth plans for the coming year.

Other titles on the slate

Odin Q: Valkyrie's Call is scheduled to launch in Korea, Taiwan and Japan in January next year. God Save Birmingham, an open-world zombie survival game, is planned for the first quarter of next year.

Chrono Odyssey and ArcheAge S are planned for the second quarter of next year across PC, console and mobile.
