Kakao Games wraps up 'Dokkaebi's World' demo event at Daegu Content Fair
Kakao Games' 'Dokkaebi's World' MMORPG demo event was held at the Daegu Content Fair on October 16-17, with visitors testing the Baegun boss battle.
Kakao Games completed an offline demo event for its MMORPG 'Dokkaebi's World' at the Daegu Content Fair, held in Daegu from October 16 to 17, according to gamemeca.com.
The publisher ran a shared booth with Redice Studio, the studio that owns the 'Myeol-gwi-su-do-jeon' IP. Visitors who verified installing the game and subscribing to its official channel were given a chance to play the demo.
Attendees could try the Baegun boss battle content using demo accounts set up with various outfits and mounts. Participants received merchandise including pouches, a T-shirt, a photo card set and a coupon.
'Dokkaebi's World' is an MMORPG based on the Naver web novel and webtoon 'Myeol-gwi-su-do-jeon', combining 2D dot characters with 3D backgrounds. It was developed in collaboration with Redice Studio, the studio behind 'Solo Leveling'.
After launching on October 8, the game reached No. 1 on Google Play's top grossing chart and No. 2 on the Apple App Store revenue ranking.
