KAYAC opens Steam page for Chopstick Simulator
The physics-based PC game tasks players with moving 50 to 1,000 beans between bowls and is registered as free-to-play on Steam.
KAYAC Inc. opened a Steam store page for the PC game Chopstick Simulator on October 19, according to Automaton Media. The release date is undecided, and the title is registered on Steam as a free-to-play game.
Chopstick Simulator is a physics-based game about carrying small beans with chopsticks. Players move beans from a bowl on the left of the screen to an empty bowl on the right, with the number of beans ranging from 50 to 1000 and clear times measured.
The left chopstick is controlled with the WASD keys and the right chopstick with IJKL, with Space used to lift both and Shift to lower them. The game supports solo play and online co-op for up to 2 to 4 players; in co-op, all players take beans from the same bowl.
The title is developed by Kei Furukawa and published by KAYAC, which is known as "Omoshiro Hojin KAYAC" and runs game, esports and production businesses. KAYAC has previously released the Nintendo Switch title Ketsu Battler and mobile hyper-casual games, and has several titles on Steam.
Chopstick-based games have appeared before: Kazoe Meshi and Ramen Abura Atsume, which involve counting rice grains and gathering oil from ramen soup respectively, already exist.
