Keelblade: Legend of the Pirate Gets Updated Steam Next Fest Demo
Digital Confectioners' overhauled demo adds character-creation options, a revised talent tree and new difficulty settings ahead of the game's 2027 PC launch.
Digital Confectioners released an updated demo for Keelblade: Legend of the Pirate on 20 October 2026, timed to the start of the Steam Next Fest demo event. The demo is available on PC via Steam and includes Japanese language support, according to Automaton Media.
The update expands character creation with more hairstyle and facial hair options. Digital Confectioners also revised the talent tree and added two new talents.
Other changes include a redesigned user interface, a new world rule and new difficulty settings, alongside performance optimizations. The game is planned for release on PC via Steam in 2027.
Renamed from Triarchy
The project was originally announced under the working title Triarchy and was developed through repeated playtests. Because the game changed significantly during development, it was renamed Keelblade: Legend of the Pirate.
Earlier in October 2026, a demo began distribution letting players try island exploration, combat, ship sailing and crafting.
