Kemono-tachi no Kamikiri-ya demo gets revised Japanese text
SIGONO updated the Steam demo on October 19, 2026, with Japanese text revised by native localization staff, ahead of Steam Next Fest.
SIGONO announced on October 19, 2026 that the Steam demo for the conversation-driven narrative adventure Kemono-tachi no Kamikiri-ya has been updated, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp. The update revises the Japanese text across the entire game, with the localization handled by native Japanese-speaking staff.
The title is in development at Safe Flight Games and published by SIGONO. Players take the role of Faidi, a barber running a barbershop in a modern city of beastfolk, and progress through the story by talking with customers.
One of the tools available in the shop is a "mysterious mirror" that lets players show a customer the finished result before making the cut. Its uses are limited, so it is not available for every customer.
The demo supports Japanese, English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. The full game's release date has not been decided.
Steam Next Fest run scheduled
Ahead of the update, the game's Steam wishlist count had surpassed 200,000, and the demo had collected about 1,000 user reviews with a 99 percent positive rating, an Overwhelmingly Positive standing. The title is set to take part in Steam Next Fest from October 20 to October 27, 2026 (Japan time).
