Kingdom Hearts Collection [1~3] PS5 Trophy List Shows Only 3 Platinums

The trophy list for Kingdom Hearts Collection [1~3] on PS5 has been revealed, and it includes only three Platinum trophies, according to gamerant.com. That is half the number available in the equivalent PS4 versions of the same games.

The three Platinums are attached to Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 Remix, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind. Each of those three titles carries a single Platinum on PS5.

Other entries in the package are handled differently. Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep Final Mix, and Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories are treated as DLC packs on PS5, with no individual Platinum trophy of their own.

The collection launches on October 8 on PS5 and includes almost every Kingdom Hearts entry to date, excluding Melody of Memory. The Disney and Square Enix crossover series has been a staple of the industry since it debuted in 2002, and the compilation arrives ahead of the franchise's 25th anniversary in 2027. Kingdom Hearts 4 is slated for release in the latter part of 2027.

Following the compilation's reveal, Square Enix was accused of using generative AI for some of the game's key artwork. The company denied the accusations, attributed the mistakes to human error, and quietly corrected the artwork in all promotional materials for Kingdom Hearts Collection [1~3].
