Korea Boardgames has begun selling tickets for the 2027 Korea Boardgames Family Park, the company's family-oriented board game experience event, according to game.donga.com. The event will run for 10 days, from January 15 to January 24, 2027, at KINTEX Hall 10A.
Tickets are available on the Korea Boardgames website, NOL Interpark and Naver. They are split into weekday, weekend and afternoon passes, with the afternoon pass allowing entry from 3 p.m. Super early bird benefits apply until January 3, 2027, offering 50% off weekday passes and 35% off weekend passes. Children under 36 months enter free.
New lecture programs join the lineup
The program includes lecture-style experience sessions. Plaza of Growth lets visitors learn bestsellers and new board games, including Da Vinci Code, at set times, while Coffee Alley offers a hands-on session with Coffee Rush by author Han Eui-jin. Catan Island returns for visitors to learn Catan, and a GraviTrax Junior special class will be run like kindergarten and daycare classes.
A space devoted to EoseooseNyang by children's board game author Kim Seo-jin will also operate. Giant's Garden, a large board game experience space, and Mystery Club, a time-limited room escape game, are part of the event again.
The event runs daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The mat zone is free on a first-come, first-served basis, and Nyam Nyam Station, selling ramen, will operate alongside two food trucks. Family Park was first held in January last year, and at that edition Giant's Garden and Mystery Club were operated, according to game.donga.com. EoseooseNyang previously reached 684% of its funding goal in a Korea Boardgames crowdfunding campaign.
