Krafton cancels PUBG: Black Budget after closed alpha testing

Krafton has cancelled PUBG: Black Budget, the extraction shooter that had been running in closed alpha testing for just under a year. The company said the game's current direction would not lead to an experience players could enjoy over the long term.
The cancellation was reported by Rock Paper Shotgun. Krafton did not give a release window or a launch platform for the project at the time of the announcement.
PUBG Studios, the team behind the game, said it will carry the lessons learned from Black Budget into future projects.
