Level Up Gaming and Baffled Engineer released Legion Breaker, a 2D incremental defense auto-battler, on Steam on October 13, according to gamebiz.jp. The game is priced at 6.99 dollars and 7.19 euros, with a 20% discount for its first two weeks on sale. In Japanese yen the regular price is 900 yen, with the sale price set at 720 yen.

Legion Breaker draws its legion-building mechanics from Mount & Blade and Total War, and its visuals from Kingdom. Players take the role of a novice mage fighting the overwhelming undead forces of a necromancer king.

The battlefield expands with each wave, and players lead their legion through spellcasting, summoning and hiring troops to hold the defense line. Resources earned in battle can be spent on a skill tree to strengthen spells and units and build a loadout.

The game includes boss encounters that test the player's legion, along with a full campaign that follows the novice mage through to an ultimate battle mage.
