LEGO Harry Potter Collection Comes to Switch 2 on October 16 for $49.99

Warner Bros. brings the remastered LEGO Harry Potter bundle to Nintendo Switch 2, with no upgrade path announced for existing Switch owners.

LEGO Harry Potter Collection is set to launch for Nintendo Switch 2 on Friday, October 16, according to Game Rant. The Switch 2 version will retail for $49.99.

Content-wise, the Switch 2 release is the same as other versions of the collection. Graphical and performance improvements over the Switch 1 release are expected.

No upgrade path, free or otherwise, has been announced for players who already own LEGO Harry Potter Collection on the original Switch.

Two Games, One Collection

LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4 was first released in 2010 and adapts the first four Harry Potter books and movies. A year later, in 2011, LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 hit the market and wrapped up the story. Since then, the two games have been remastered for newer hardware and bundled together as LEGO Harry Potter Collection, developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment.

The release follows LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, which launched for other platforms earlier in the year and recently arrived on Switch 2.
