Littlelands launches expanded Steam Next Fest demo

The updated free demo adds a new combat system, character customization options and a minimap ahead of the game's November 16 Early Access release.

An expanded free demo of Littlelands is now available on Steam during Steam Next Fest, ahead of the cozy life simulation adventure game's Steam Early Access launch on November 16. The demo was released for the festival, according to gamemeca.com.

The updated demo adds an improved combat system with enemy targeting and target-based dodging. Character customization has also been expanded with new hairstyles, eyes, face decorations, outfits and hats.

A minimap was added following community requests. The demo also introduces improved controls, automatic camera rotation for mouse and keyboard players, a focus glow highlighting interactable objects, an FPS limit option, and English and Spanish language support.

Players can test the demo against creatures including a goblin boss, or skip combat entirely and spend the day fishing, farming, decorating, treasure hunting and meeting residents. The demo will stay free on Steam after Steam Next Fest ends.
