Loftia Multiplayer Demo Hits Steam Ahead of November 3 Early Access

The demo includes farming, fishing, housing and crafting, and its save data carries over to the early access version launching on November 3.

A multiplayer-enabled demo of Loftia is now available on Steam, developer and publisher Qloud Games announced ahead of the game's early access launch on November 3. The demo was released on October 20, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp.

The demo lets players try farming, fishing, housing, crafting and other slow-life activities, along with an early portion of the game's story. Its world project centres on preparing a birthday party for the NPC Pebble, and completing it rewards furniture.

Progress is not lost when the full version arrives: quests completed, items and character progress carry over from the demo to the early access release. Demo save data can likewise be carried over on November 3.

Earlier tests and awards

In April, about 25,000 players took part in a closed beta for Loftia. The game also won the user-voted Most Anticipated Game award at the Cozy Game Awards.
