Love and Deepspace Opens Blade Runner 2049 Crossover Event
The [Rendered Real] event runs from October 19 to November 5 and includes an emote recreating the K and Joi billboard scene.
Infold Games has opened the [Rendered Real] crossover event in Love and Deepspace, pairing the mobile game with Blade Runner 2049, according to Kotaku. The event runs from 05:00 on October 19 to 04:59 on November 5.
Players can claim daily in-game currency rewards, a special photo background and an emote that recreates the K and Joi billboard scene from the film. A trailer for the crossover has also been released.
The event was announced on October 18, 2026, a day before it went live.
The crossover has drawn criticism from some players, who say it echoes Valko, the sixth love interest whose removal from Love and Deepspace upset fans. After the character was released and then withdrawn, some fans pledged to stop spending on the gacha game until he returns.
Blade Runner 2049, directed by Denis Villeneuve, was released in 2017 as a follow-up to Ridley Scott's Blade Runner. Ryan Gosling plays K in the film, with Joi as his digital companion.
