Smilegate Launches LUV PLACE on Stove with Cross-Platform Play
Catcap's rhythm dance game LUV PLACE is now live on Stove with a new server and launch events running through the 31st.
Smilegate announced on the 16th that LUV PLACE, a rhythm dance game developed by Catcap, has officially launched on the Stove platform. A new server opened alongside the release, according to game.donga.com.
LUV PLACE combines rhythm dancing to music with character customization and interaction between users. The game features a physics-engine-based avatar system with 13 decoration points, more than 23,000 costumes and a dyeing system. It also offers a couple system spanning matching to weddings and a guild-type 'pam' system.
Cross-platform play between PC and mobile is supported, and the UI/UX and convenience features were fully overhauled for the launch.
Launch celebration events run until the 31st, offering up to 19,000 Flakes and 10 in-game items for cumulative attendance. The Stove store is also running a first-come 10% payment discount coupon, discount coupons for new and first-payment users, and a review-writing lottery event.
Background
Catcap implemented the controls and community elements typical of rhythm dance games based on its experience developing Club Audition Mobile.
