Mahjong Soul adds pianist Reisei and piano-classroom event

The October 21 update brings Reisei, voiced by Yoko Hikasa, a limited-time event running to November 4 at 5:59, pick-up prayer banners and a new costume.

Mahjong Soul released an update on October 21 that adds the new character Reisei and a limited-time event called Dream-Weaving Piano Classroom, according to gamebiz.jp. The event and its associated banners run until November 4 at 5:59.

Reisei is described as a pianist with both talent and dedication, and is voiced by Yoko Hikasa. Her appearance rate is boosted for a limited time through the prayer banner Path of Full Bloom.

In the event, players collect fame by playing matches without CPU opponents or by completing quests, then exchange it for rewards that include the main-screen BGM Unfinished Poem. Separate prayer banners, Autumn Splendor I–III and Autumn Splendor Radiance, list specific characters as pick-up targets.

The update also adds limited decorations such as a Riichi stick, mahjong tiles, a mahjong table and a match BGM. A new costume, Phantom in the Night, went on sale for a limited time, alongside returning costumes and the new background Windmill and Flower Field.
