Marvel Rivals Dev Works to Block Doomsday Crossover Leaks

Game director Guangyun Chen says NetEase is doing all it can to keep the Avengers: Doomsday crossover under wraps before it lands in December.

Guangyun Chen, game director on Marvel Rivals, said the development team is doing everything it can to prevent leaks ahead of a planned crossover with the Marvel Studios film Avengers: Doomsday. According to gamesradar.com, Chen's remarks came as NetEase prepares the event.

The Marvel Rivals crossover with Avengers: Doomsday is set to culminate in December. NetEase has not announced a specific date for the event.

The crossover follows a run of Marvel-themed events in the hero shooter. In April, Marvel Rivals kicked off an Avengers-themed event built around a 6v1 asymmetrical mode against Loki.

This week, the game is running the Infinity War event, which introduces a 2v2 mode with Infinity Stones. A PVE mode based on Endgame will drop later this month, with the Doomsday-themed crossover following in December.
