Marvel Tokon Adds Phoenix Cyclops in November 2 Update
Arc System Works' patch introduces the first DLC fighter, two Cyclops costume packs, a Hulk Joe Fixit outfit and PC benchmarking tools.
Arc System Works released the November 2 update for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, adding Phoenix Cyclops as the game's first DLC character, according to GameRant. The update also brings new costume packs, balance changes and PC-specific additions.
Phoenix Cyclops combines optic blasts with fire-based attacks and fills a Solar Shards meter. Once charged, he transforms into a Dark Phoenix form that grants a temporary power boost at the cost of depleted health.
The patch adds Classic and Legacy Cyclops costumes alongside a Joe Fixit outfit for Hulk. Each costume pack costs $4.99, includes 8 color variations and matching avatar options, and is not included with special editions.
Assist and tag changes
On the gameplay side, assists now have a cooldown, tagging in characters carries a 5-second cooldown, and tagging on block has been removed. Crossover Reflect, Perfect Reflect and Member Switch were also adjusted.
The PC version receives a Benchmark Test that can filter online matchmaking, a required shader warmup at launch and improved online stability. Phoenix Cyclops was first confirmed as the first DLC character at San Diego Comic Con in the summer, and during EVO France Arc System Works showed a Year 1 roadmap listing Thor for Winter 2027, Venom for Spring 2027 and Jubilee for Summer 2027.
