Microsoft launches "25 Years of Xbox" bundle with 25 games for $570
The digital collection for Xbox's 25th anniversary includes Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Gears Triple Bundle and Age of Empires 25th Anniversary Collection.
Microsoft released a digital game bundle titled "25 Years of Xbox" on November 3, 2026, marking the 25th anniversary of the Xbox brand. The bundle contains 25 games and is priced at $570, according to GameSpot.
Several of the included items are themselves multi-game collections. Among them is Halo: The Master Chief Collection, which bundles Halo 1 through Halo 4, Halo 3: ODST and Halo: Reach. The package also includes a Gears Triple Bundle and an Age of Empires 25th Anniversary Collection.
Platform support varies by title: some games in the bundle are playable on both Xbox and PC, while others are limited to a single platform. Many of the bundled games are currently available on Xbox Game Pass.
Anniversary year follows a leadership change
Xbox reaches its 25th anniversary in 2026. In February 2026, Microsoft named Asha Sharma as the division's new CEO. Sharma carried out what was described as a reset of Xbox, including mass layoffs, studio divestitures and game cancellations, stating that the division's finances were unhealthy.
