Mycopunk Lands on PS5 and PS Plus Extra Day One on October 20
Devolver Digital's co-op FPS will join PS Plus Extra and Premium at launch on October 20, the same day it hits PS5.
Mycopunk is coming to PS5 on October 20 and will be available as a day-one addition to PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium, publisher Devolver Digital and developer Pigeons at Play have confirmed. The launch date applies to both the standalone PS5 release and the subscription versions.
The game was previously announced for PS Plus during a recent State of Play, but at the time it had no 1.0 release date. Mycopunk first launched on PC in Early Access, where it built a following ahead of the full release.
On Steam, the game has been received very positively, with 91% of more than 3,000 reviews rated positive. Players have praised its fast-paced FPS combat, extensive weapon customization, co-op gameplay, and the sheer variety of upgrade combinations.
The October 20 launch marks the first major wave of PS Plus Extra games for the month, according to gamerant.com. Sony's previously announced PS Plus free games for October 6 include F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896, and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2.
