NCSoft opens B2C startup booth for G-Star 26 in Busan
Superjoy and Genisoft will exhibit at G-Star 26 with NCSoft's sponsorship, and visitors can try their games at a new B2C booth.
NCSoft announced on 27 October 2026 that it will support game startups exhibiting at G-Star 26, the international game exhibition held at BEXCO in Busan from 19 to 22 November 2026, according to techm.kr.
The company will set up a booth called "Startup with NCSoft" in the G-Star 26 B2C hall, so general visitors can try the startups' games. Two companies, Superjoy and Genisoft, will attend the exhibition with NCSoft's sponsorship this year.
NCSoft said the support program has run for 10 years, and that this year it expands from B2B-focused support to a B2C booth.
Ten years of startup sponsorship
NCSoft has sponsored game startups' participation in G-Star together with the Korea Internet Corporation Association since 2017. Through last year, the company provided support 51 times to a total of 43 startups.
According to a Korea Internet Corporation Association survey, 17 supported startups that responded reported sales of about 67.58 billion won last year, up 558% from about 10.27 billion won at the time of their G-Star participation. Their cumulative sales since taking part reached about 290.77 billion won, while employees at the surveyed companies rose from 163 at the time of participation to 448 now.
NCSoft has also supported startups at the Busan Indie Connect Festival (BIC), Indiecraft and the Taiwan Game Show.
