Nexthurs to ask shareholders to rename company ONE Corp.
The name change would sit atop a plan to fold publishing, distribution and payments into a single ONE-branded platform.
Nexthurs said it will propose changing its company name to ONE Corp. at an extraordinary shareholders' meeting on November 16, according to datanet.co.kr.
The company also plans to amend its articles of incorporation to add the business purpose of verifying blockchain networks and participating in, operating and managing validators, along with related services.
Nexthurs said the aim is to unify its game publishing, distribution and payment businesses under the ONE brand as a full-stack AI and blockchain game platform.
In June 2026, Nexthurs acquired ONEstore and has since pursued that full-stack platform covering publishing, domestic and overseas distribution and payments. ONEstore was launched globally in 122 countries with an AI games tab and the embedded wallet ONEpocket.
