Nintendo Shares 7-Second Animated Majora's Mask Key Art

The animated key visual arrives via the Nintendo Today App and marks the third Majora's Mask release in three weeks.

Nintendo has published a newly animated version of the key visual art for The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask through the Nintendo Today App. The clip is a short, 7-second look at the game's main key visual art, according to screenrant.com.

The animation is the third release tied to The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask in as many weeks. Earlier items in that run included digital collectible cards on the Nintendo Today App, and Nintendo also announced the addition of the game's soundtrack to Nintendo Music alongside new Nintendo Switch Online icon parts based on the game.

Majora's Mask originally launched on the Nintendo 64. A remake was later released for the Nintendo 3DS, arriving after Ocarina of Time returned to the platform, with a two-year gap between the two releases that upset fans. A remake of Ocarina of Time is scheduled for release in November.

In July, fans discovered that the IMDB page of Adult Link voice actor Nobuyuki Hiyama had been updated with an unannounced game in post-production called The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask HD. Nintendo has not confirmed such a project.
