Nintendo Previews Ocarina of Time Switch 2 Remake Items

Nintendo shared a preview image of the updated ocarina and Spiritual Stones, and confirmed Zelda Notes app support for the Ocarina of Time remake.

Nintendo's UK social media accounts shared a preview image of the ocarina and the three Spiritual Stones as they appear in the upcoming Switch 2 remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, according to gamerant.com. The company also announced that the Zelda Notes app will be updated to support the remake.

Pre-orders for the Ocarina of Time remake are now available on the Nintendo Store and at various retailers. The game is scheduled for release on November 5, 2026.

The Zelda Notes app will continue to support Tears of the Kingdom alongside the new Ocarina of Time features.

What the preview shows

In the remake, the ocarina features a Triforce symbol etched near the mouthpiece and holes for playing different notes. The Spiritual Stones retain a similar appearance to their original designs, with greater detailing on the golden portions.

In the original 1998 release, the ocarina was used to play songs that open doors, transport Link, or summon Epona. The three Spiritual Stones were named the Goron's Ruby, the Zora's Sapphire, and the Kokiri's Emerald, and each was obtained after completing one of the game's first three dungeons.

A real-life Ocarina of Time sold on the Nintendo Store is currently out of stock, as is the Zelda 40th Anniversary Switch 2 console set.
