NoGlyph accuses Little Field Studios of copying its game's code

NoGlyph has publicly accused Little Field Studios of copying code from its game Needle In A Haystack into A Game About Needle In A Haystack, in a post on Steam dated October 17, 2026. According to Kotaku, the accusation follows the release of Little Field Studios' game on October 16, 2026; NoGlyph's own title launched on Steam on September 29, 2026.
NoGlyph said it found 13 of its classes with identical names inside the other game's files. It added that some of its own error messages appear word for word in the other title, including one referring to a shader from its project.
NoGlyph lead developer Jahvin said the other game contains 39 same-named methods that are byte-for-byte identical.
A wave of similarly titled releases
In August 2026, clips of Studio Bitdot's Needle In A Haystack Simulator went viral on social media. After those clips circulated, similarly titled games such as A Needle In a Haystack and Story of The Needle In a Haystack appeared on Steam overnight.
As of writing, at least fourteen clones of Studio Bitdot's original game are on Steam, according to the facts reported by Kotaku.
