NTE Version 1.5 Launches November 11 With New Characters Yerm and Exe

Perfect World Games announced during a preview stream that NTE: Neverness to Everness Version 1.5, titled "Redial # To You in Fantasy", will launch on November 11, according to automaton-media.com. The update introduces two new playable characters, new vehicles and a tank-based event.

Yerm, deputy captain handling internal affairs for the E.T.D 6th Squad, is a support character built around a "signal strength" system that boosts damage, buffs and auto-attacks. Exe, captain of the E.T.D 6th Squad and a hidden top hacker, is a ranged attacker who uses "Frame" and "Rate" systems and can move through billboards while exploring. Yerm appears in a limited banner from November 11 to December 2, while Exe's banner runs from December 2 to December 23.

Version 1.5 adds a new anomaly space: a submerged city in the electronic sea, reached through the "dream phone" urban legend, with a new digital-looking boss. Two new vehicles arrive as well — the lion-shaped kiddie-ride-style Prototype Gao 001 and the tank Tantan-go — both obtained from blind boxes.

A special "Tank Battle" event lets four players fight in a free-for-all, piloting tanks, firing special shells and contesting a central area for powerful items. A new vehicle-based activity called "City Logistics" lets players run their own logistics center, hire drivers, select orders and upgrade the facility.

Other additions include the single-player board game "Manten Gorei", new decoration parts, a strengthened renovation system and a fortune-telling wagon. The mobile version supports Snapdragon's ANF technology, and the game supports "NVIDIA RTX Spark" ahead of the rest of the world.

NTE: Neverness to Everness is a free-to-play supernatural urban open-world RPG available on PC, Mac, PS5, iOS and Android, in which players are "anomaly hunters" of the antique shop Avon, set in Hetero City.
