NTE Version 1.5 Adds Yelm and Exe as Playable Characters

Hotta Studio's NTE: Neverness to Everness will add Yelm and Exe as playable characters in Version 1.5, details revealed in a preview program titled "Redial #To the Imaginary You" that streamed on October 28, 2026, according to gamespark.jp. The update arrives with the November 11 update, and both characters' limited banners are scheduled through December.
Version 1.5 adds a new main story chapter set in an anomaly space reached through a phone-number-related anomaly called the "dream phone," featuring a submerged city and a new boss.
Yelm, vice-captain of E.T.D 6th Squad, is a Light-type support. Her Veil skill instantly fills Link energy to maximum for an immediate Link, and raising signal strength in combat improves the skill while automatically switching the EX Rail finisher between single-target and multi-target forms. Her ascension material comes from the new anomaly pilgrimage stage. She has three costumes, and the moiré pattern on her default outfit can be toggled on or off.
Exe, captain of E.T.D 6th Squad, is a ranged Dark-type attacker who can move through in-city billboards during city exploration. He builds up frames to generate digital afterimages for extra damage, while his rate rank rises from B through A, S, SS and SSS via attacks, skills, perfect dodges and rail counters. Exe also has three costumes.
Banner schedule
Yelm's limited banner runs from after the November 11 update until 6:59 on December 2, alongside a rerun and a research project for both characters' arc discs. Exe's banner then runs from after the December 2 update until 6:59 on December 23, with another rerun and arc disc research project. The program also showed a logistics-center management mode, new vehicles, a tank battle mode and various feature improvements, with the player character taking a more managerial role.
