Ocarina of Time Remake Launches Nov 5, 2026, With Amiibo Masks
Nintendo's Ocarina of Time remake arrives November 5, 2026, with two Amiibo that unlock N64 Link and Zelda masks, and extra inventory slots spotted.
Nintendo will release its remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on November 5, 2026. The company showed a short sampling of gameplay from the remake during a recent Direct.
Two Amiibo figures launch alongside the game. Tapping them on the Switch's NFC reader unlocks a pair of in-game masks: one modeled after the original N64 Link and the other after N64 Zelda.
The remake's inventory screen appears to include extra item slots, including an additional empty bottle and two empty slots. YouTuber Andres Restart noticed the slots, which were reported by CBR.
That change has fueled fan speculation that the remake could restore the explorable Temple of Light, an area cut from the Nintendo 64 release.
The remake is rated Everyone 10+ for Animated Blood and Fantasy Violence. Nintendo is both developing and publishing the game.
