Pocketpair has announced a new Palworld update titled Side by Side, due to release in Winter 2026, according to gamesradar.com. The studio asked players to stay tuned for further updates on the new content.
The announcement included an image showing three blacked-out Pals, with no further details given about what the update will add.
Alongside the reveal, Pocketpair published the results of a popularity poll covering 280 Pals and in-game characters, split into Pals and non-Pals lists. Sekmet placed first in the Pals poll, followed by Solene and Chillet. Zoe, Auri and Saya took the top three places in the non-Pals poll.
In a recent media appearance, Pocketpair's John "Bucky" Buckley said the team will not release 100 new Pals with the next update, because the studio believes every Pal should have something memorable.
