PEAK Launches on Xbox Series X|S With Crossplay and All Updates

The co-op climbing game costs $9.99 on Xbox and ships with every content update released so far, including new biomes and cosmetics.

PEAK launched on Xbox Series X|S on 22 October 2026, according to news.xbox.com, bringing the co-op climbing game to Microsoft's consoles with crossplay support across multiple platforms.

The Xbox version includes all content updates released for the game so far, among them additional biomes, cosmetics and features. PEAK is priced at $9.99.

The game is built for one to four players, with multiplayer limited to friends. Its island map rotates every 24 hours, and players climb through 4 biomes toward a mountain at the island's center.

PEAK is co-developed by Aggro Crab, the Seattle-based studio behind Another Crab's Treasure and Going Under, and Landfall, the Stockholm-based team known for Content Warning, Haste, Totally Accurate Battle Simulator and Stick Fight: The Game.

From a one-month jam to a console release

The two studios became friends after meeting at a game developer conference in 2022. Following the success of Another Crab's Treasure and Content Warning, they decided to collaborate on a small project: PEAK was originally made during a one-month game jam in South Korea by three Aggro Crab developers and four from Landfall. The theme had been discussed in a hot tub in Sweden a couple of months before the jam.
