Phantom Blade Zero getting PS5 physical release in 2027

S-Game said the boxed version arrives a few months after launch, with Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate editions planned.

S-Game announced that Phantom Blade Zero will get a physical PlayStation 5 release in 2027, a few months after the game's digital launch. According to Polygon, the boxed version will include an actual disc rather than only a download code.

Three physical editions are planned. The Standard Edition is priced at $59.99, and the Deluxe Edition at $69.99. The Deluxe Edition bundles a digital art book, the soundtrack, and the Wulin Legend and Blood-Steel form skins.

A third, Ultimate Edition will include a collectible steel book. S-Game has not announced its price or full contents, and there is no digital equivalent of that edition.

The studio has also not confirmed whether the physical editions carry pre-order bonuses. Digital pre-orders, meanwhile, can preload the game on Oct. 26 at 10 p.m. ET.

Phantom Blade Zero is a wuxia action RPG from Beijing-based S-Game, the studio behind the Rainblood series. Its combat draws on real martial arts and soulslike games, with action star Donnie Yen brought in as a consultant on combat design. The game launches on PlayStation 5, Steam and Epic Games Store on Oct. 28.
