Code and DESIGN launches Pixel Invisible hide-and-seek game on mobile

The free-to-play game pits up to 10 players against each other, with hiders painting tanuki bodies to blend into the scenery.

Code and DESIGN released Pixel Invisible, an online hide-and-seek game, for iOS and Android on November 3, 2026. The title is free to play with optional in-app purchases, according to gamebiz.jp.

Matches support up to 10 players online. Hiders play as tanuki and paint a 32x32-dot body to blend into floors and furniture, adjusting red, green and blue values and using an eyedropper tool to match nearby colours. Four poses are available: standing, crouching, stretching and curling up.

Seekers, described as agent tanuki, carry a cork gun with limited ammunition. A heartbeat sound plays when an agent approaches a hider. Hiders win the round if at least one of them survives until the end.

Online play offers random matching and friend rooms created with a five-character code, and an offline practice mode is included. The game ships with 10 stages, among them a mansion, a school, an aquarium and a spaceship.
