Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver Pins Coming in 2027

The Pokemon Company's 30th anniversary collector's set, sold only through the Japanese Pokemon Center, features pins shaped after the HeartGold and SoulSilver boxes.

The Pokemon Company has announced two collector pins themed after the Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver packaging, part of its merchandise line for the franchise's 30th anniversary. The pins ship in mid-February 2027 and are sold together as an exclusive collector's set through the Japanese Pokemon Center, according to gamerant.com.

One pin reproduces the HeartGold box art and its Ho-Oh artwork, while the other reproduces the SoulSilver packaging with Lugia. Both pins have backs designed to resemble Pokeballs.

The set pairs the two games in a single package, matching the paired releases they are based on.

The same collection has previously included pins modeled after the packaging of Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen. Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver originally released for the Nintendo DS in 2009, and Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen received a Switch release earlier this year.

Pokemon's 30th anniversary has already produced a steady stream of merchandise and celebrations.
