Nintendo announced a new physical Nintendo Switch 2 edition of Pokémon Legends: Z-A that bundles the base game and the Mega Dimension DLC on a single card. The bundle is officially named Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Mega Dimension and will be released Oct. 29.
Buyers of the physical bundle also get a code for a Mystery Gift of 100 Ultra Balls. Nintendo did not announce a price for the bundle.
The Switch 2 edition is playable on an original Nintendo Switch console, with content the same as the Nintendo Switch software and no additional Switch 2 features.
What's in the bundle
The package pairs the base game with the Mega Dimension expansion, which dropped before 2025 was up and let players explore a distorted version of Lumiose City filled with new Pokémon.
Pokémon Legends: Z-A was released last fall and sold over 12 million copies by the end of 2025. The digital version of the base game and its DLC retails for $99.99. The game also landed in Polygon's top 50 games of 2025.
