Leak Claims Arcanine Has Placeholder Weather Form in Pokémon Winds and Waves
An unverified leak also lists Lucario, Kecleon, Pikachu and 7 new Gen 10 Pokémon as having placeholder special weather forms in the upcoming Switch title.
A leak shared online claims that Arcanine is among the Pokémon with placeholder special weather forms in Pokémon Winds and Waves, according to screenrant.com. The claim originates from a leak circulated by Centro LEAKS and has not been confirmed by Game Freak, Nintendo or The Pokémon Company.
The same leak lists Lucario, Kecleon, Pikachu and 7 new Gen 10 Pokémon as also having placeholder special weather forms. The leak offers no detail on how those forms would function or whether they remain in development.
Beyond the weather forms, the leak describes Pokémon Winds and Waves as an "MMOlite" with a focus on communication features, and says online play will be the biggest technical leap in Generation 10. It also claims the games will follow a three-main-story structure similar to Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, and that Salandit will receive a Poison/Dragon regional evolution.
Additional unverified claims include an appearance by Lt. Surge's son with his father's Raichu, and that the delay of Pokémon Winds and Waves to 2027 is due to needing more time to finish the game. None of these details have been officially announced.
