Prime 1 Studio opens pre-orders for first A-SYMBOL Katamari figures

Prime 1 Studio opened pre-orders on October 22 for the "A-SYMBOL Katamari Damacy Prince" and "A-SYMBOL Katamari Damacy King" figures, the first two entries in its new A-SYMBOL figure series. Both products are scheduled for release in November 2027, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp.

The Prince figure stands 15cm tall with the katamari attached, while the Prince himself measures 5cm, matching the scale of the game's setting. The katamari contains magnets, so the included objects or the buyer's own metal items can be stuck to it. Three low-poly objects come in the box: an eraser, a soy sauce dispenser and a film roll.

The Prince also includes swappable heads for "normal" and "whistle" expressions, a bonus "happy" head limited to some retailers, and a stand part that allows him to be displayed on his own. The bonus edition costs 10,120 yen including tax.

A King ten times the Prince's height

The King figure is 50cm tall, ten times the Prince, and is listed at 51cm in its product overview. It comes with swappable face parts for "normal", "smile" and "open eyes", the last a bonus limited to some retailers, plus a Prince head wearing the "Cool Mask". His neck is movable and his cape is made of cloth. The bonus edition costs 32,340 yen including tax.

In Japan, the bonus editions are sold only through the Prime 1 Studio official online store and Asobi Store. Prime 1 Studio will mark its 15th anniversary on March 30, 2027, and the Nintendo Switch 2 version of Once Upon A KATAMARI and its "Rolling Live Highlights" DLC are currently on sale.
