Proton-CachyOS 11.0-20261005 Released With Wine Rebase and Game Fixes

The release syncs with Proton Experimental 11.0-20261001 and fixes missing cutscenes in Wuthering Waves and videos in GTA San Andreas.

Proton-CachyOS version 11.0-20261005 has been released, according to gamingonlinux.com. The build updates Proton-CachyOS to Proton Experimental 11.0-20261001.

The Wine submodule was rebased on top of Wine from Proton-EM. winepipewire.drv was updated to fix various reported issues, and an issue with Brazilian ABNT keys in winewayland.drv was fixed.

The release also brings a set of component updates: d7vk to version 2.3, dxvk-sarek to v1.13.0-36-gcc9412c9, dxvk-low-latency to low-latency-framepacing-3.1.1-2, vkd3d-low-latency to low-latency-3.0.1-2, and nvidia-libs to their latest versions. protonfixes was updated to version 1.0.15-1853-gf842871, including a patch to hide the Wine version from Witcher 3.

Several game bugs were addressed. Missing videos were fixed in Witch on the Holy Night and GTA San Andreas, and missing cutscenes in Wuthering Waves after the 3.7 update were fixed. The icuuc.dll and icuin.dll modules were imported from upstream Wine to prevent the Albion Online Launcher from crashing.

Proton-CachyOS now also loads user_settings.py from the target compatdata directory as well as the proton installation directory.
