Alliance Arts Cancels Public Demo for PUKEY GODDESS SHOT TRICK
The demo planned for October 19 will instead run as a closed online hands-on event limited to approved applicants, the publisher said.
Alliance Arts announced on October 16 that the public release of the PUKEY GODDESS SHOT TRICK demo, previously set for October 19, has been cancelled. The demo will instead be held as a closed online hands-on event open only to approved participants, according to news.denfaminicogamer.jp.
The company said it would be difficult to properly manage and handle the planned general release alongside the restrictions that would apply to posting and streaming gameplay footage.
Alliance Arts also raised concern that AI-assisted works imitating or reproducing the game's expression and content could be published before the game's release.
Applications for the online hands-on event are being handled through the official Discord. Participants must review and agree to the participation conditions and the rules for posting and streaming gameplay in advance.
Release Still Set for December
The game is planned for release on Steam on December 8 at 666 yen (tax included). The demo had originally been scheduled for public release on October 19.
