Raw Power Games asks players to wishlist Chronicles: Medieval after funding loss
The studio says it has held talks with possible new investors and has made no further statements since the announcement.
Raw Power Games has called on players to keep talking about Chronicles: Medieval and to add the game to their Steam Wishlists, after announcing that the funding behind the studio is no longer in place. The announcement was dated October 27, 2026, according to Rock Paper Shotgun.
The loss of funding puts both the independent studio and its debut game at risk. The studio also hinted that it has held talks with possible new investors, but it has made no further statements since the announcement.
Chronicles: Medieval is not featured on Steam's own list of top wishlisted games. On SteamDB's wishlist rankings it sits at #26, a position unchanged from just before the funding announcement, while its Steam follower count rose by more than 1,000 week-on-week.
Veteran team behind the project
Raw Power Games is an independent studio made up of veteran developers of The Witcher 3, Total War: Three Kingdoms and Crusader Kings III. Chronicles: Medieval was unveiled last year with an expensive-looking trailer narrated by Tom Hardy, and was reportedly close to its planned early access launch before the funding was lost.
