Razer Announces Wolverine V4 Pro Controller for Xbox and PC at $199.99
The Wolverine V4 Pro swaps to capacitive thumbstick sensors and supports up to 8,000Hz polling on PC, Razer has confirmed.
Razer has announced the Wolverine V4 Pro, a new controller for Xbox and PC. The Wolverine V4 Pro is priced at $199.99 / £199.99.
The controller uses capacitive thumbstick sensors rather than TMR or Hall effect sensors, and supports 250Hz polling on Xbox and up to 8,000Hz polling on PC. It also includes swappable magnetic thumbstick elements, four back buttons, two extra bumpers, and four onboard profiles configurable through Razer Synapse.
Razer has dropped the carrying case from the V4 Pro bundle. The Wolverine V3 Pro, launched two years ago, included one; gamesradar.com reports that its author saw a sneak peek of the Wolverine V4 Pro at Gamescom and asked product designers about the missing case.
TMR thumbsticks became an industry gold standard after the last Wolverine launched. The Wolverine V3 Pro also received an updated 8,000Hz polling version for PC that dropped Xbox licensing.
