Rockstar Drives Grand Theft Auto 6 Cars Through Miami

Rockstar Games modified real vehicles to resemble Grand Theft Auto 6 cars and drove them in a convoy through Miami, Florida, according to gamerant.com.

Rockstar Games modified real vehicles to resemble cars from Grand Theft Auto 6 and drove them in a convoy through the streets of Miami, Florida, according to gamerant.com.

The convoy included a McLaren modified to look like a real-life Progen Emerus, a Lamborghini Huracan carrying Vice City Police Department liveries, and real-world versions of the Cheetah, Coquette D10, Tempesta and Manana. The vehicles were fitted with Grand Theft Auto 6 Leonida license plates.

Fans began spotting the vehicles earlier this week, before the article's publication, with clips circulating on social media, including posts from the ONLY in DADE account and X user Ben.

Miami-Dade County Commissioner Juan Carlos Bermudez and Sheriff Rosie Cordero-Stutz had initially opposed a potential marketing deal with city officials because of the Grand Theft Auto franchise's close association with criminal activity.

In August, Take-Two Interactive announced a special Grand Theft Auto 6 Extended Look exclusively on Netflix, which drew over 30 million views. In an interview, head of development Aaron Garbut said Rockstar Games traveled around Florida with police and gang members to record sights and sounds for the game.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026.
