Rogue Trader's Final DLC Processional of the Damned Launches December 8, 2026

Owlcat Games has confirmed that Processional of the Damned, the fourth and final DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, will launch on December 8, 2026. The studio announced the date alongside a new trailer for the expansion, as reported by screenrant.com.

The expansion is woven into the main campaign rather than played as a separate story, adding new quests across the existing narrative. It sends the Rogue Trader and their companions into a graveyard of abandoned voidships, where they become trapped and must work alongside survivors of a lost missionary expedition.

Processional of the Damned also introduces Stella, a recruitable companion raised by the Order of Saint Cognatius and described as a Miraculist with psychic abilities. On the gameplay side, Owlcat lists the Zealot archetype, built around melee combat, bludgeoning weapons and area-of-effect attacks, plus a madness mechanic that affects companions.

The DLC adds new Archenemy and Aeldari enemies, grenade launchers, additional equipment, further romance content and expanded space exploration. It is included in the game's second Season Pass alongside The Infinite Museion.

A delayed finale

Processional of the Damned was originally expected in September 2026. Owlcat announced a delay on September 24, 2026, saying the expansion needed additional development time. The Infinite Museion, the other expansion in the second Season Pass, launched in June 2026. Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader itself was released on December 7, 2023.
