Rustown is a story-focused game set five years after a pandemic caused by the "Baka virus". The protagonist, Jian, travels to a slum called Rustown after receiving a letter from a father who was believed to have gone missing and died three years earlier.
Rather than fighting, players rely on non-violent stealth using a range of tools, and observe their surroundings to gather clues while searching for the father.
Earlier playable build
In August 2026, a playable version of Rustown appeared at BIC2026 in Busan, South Korea, where it was described as a top-down action adventure with no attack options.
