SAKIMORI Launches in Steam Early Access on October 22

LOOIFEND GAMES' first-person horror roguelite casts players as a guardian who purifies cursed objects within a time limit.

LOOIFEND GAMES released its first-person horror roguelite SAKIMORI in Steam Early Access on October 22, 2026, according to gamespark.jp.

SAKIMORI is set in Japanese ruins and casts the player as a "sakimori" guardian tasked with purifying cursed objects. Players explore stages within a time limit, strengthen weapons and fight enemies before returning to a shrine to purify the cursed objects they have collected.

A "tanshinha" pulse lets players gather "reiso," the resource used to upgrade weapons. At Early Access launch, the game includes school map exploration and combat, permanent upgrades before stages, and weapon upgrades.

Early Access and launch sale

LOOIFEND GAMES plans the Early Access period to last roughly 6 to 12 months. The full version is set to add new areas, expanded content and Steam achievements.

A release commemorative sale offers SAKIMORI at 240 yen, 20% off, until November 5, 2026.
