Saraab: Beyond the Veil, an Arabian folklore-inspired horror visual novel from solo developer Lubna Ahmed, will launch on November 3 for PC via Steam and Itch.io. The game follows Elham, a schoolgirl whose brother is kidnapped, forcing her to confront inner demons that manifest as monsters born from her psyche.
As Elham unlocks the powers of her bloodline, she uncovers the truth of who she is. Healing plays a role in moving the story forward, and her choices can change reality itself. The game features branching storylines and gameplay focused on Elham and her shadow.
A demo will be available during the October edition of Steam Next Fest, starting October 19. The full release includes hand-drawn, anime-inspired art and an emotional soundtrack.
